The westie is more of a medium build dog that is from the country of Scotland. Most often this breed is called the West Highland White Terrier for its distictive coat and features. Although popular in Europe and the UK, surprising this puppy is one of the most bought dogs in America since the mid 1900's. 

This is another breed that has a double coat which makes them look puffy. As far as temperament, they are very loyal to their owners, but can be stubbern when it comes to training and when rough housing beings. They can be energectic so it is smart to exercise westies at least an hour a day.
