Some information regarding a dachshund puppy
This smaller breed of dog is part of the hound family and was purely bred to hunt smaller game. These puppies and dogs can easily pick up a scent and give chase for hours until flushing out their prey. As time passed, they become one of the more popular dogs for hunting rabits and badgers.
With being a hunting dog, the dachshund puppy is full of life. These playful animals are stubborn if not given the proper attention. Even with training they can still disobey at certain times and need constant affirmation. With people they don't know, the dachshund will often bark so make sure to socialize them at an early age so they aren't fearful of other animals or people. If you aren't the energetic type, this breed may not be best as a bored dog is a destructive one. Below are several photos of this beautiful dog.
